My Story
A few years ago I was on a kayaking trip with a group of friends. It was a windy day — and when it was time to head back, someone made a well-meaning suggestion: paddle with the wind behind us. It seemed like the smart move. The easy move. The wind was cooperating and we were tired.
But the wind was blowing against the current. Which meant we were paddling with the wind — and directly against the river. The whole way back.
We were working so hard. Arms burning. Barely moving. And the whole time, completely convinced we were taking the easier route.

Following the wind. The expectations. The path of least resistance in the moment. The life that seemed like it should work — the career that paid the bills, the roles I played for everyone else, the version of myself I built to make other people comfortable.
I wasn't lazy. I wasn't weak. I was working as hard as anyone I knew. But I was paddling against my own current the entire time — and exhausted myself proving it was possible.
The wind changes. The current doesn't. And I had been following the wrong one.

I discovered life coaching in my forties. I returned to astrology — which I had studied for decades — at a depth I had never gone before. And slowly, a picture began to form that changed everything.
My chart had been tracking my life the entire time.
The first twenty years of my life — the peak period that astrologers call a Zodiacal Releasing high point — was always meant to be about children and family. My first child in my senior year of high school wasn't a mistake. It was the entire point of that season.
The difficult marriage, the divorce, the finance career I never chose — that was my 8th house full moon. The season of surrender. The chart was asking me to release everything that wasn't truly mine. I just didn't have the language for it yet.
And now — the building period. The Disseminating Moon. The season when the fruit is ripe for the picking. The chart said: share what you've learned. The river is finally running with you.

That's the difference between following the wind and navigating by the current. One leaves you exhausted and wondering why nothing fits. The other carries you exactly where you were always meant to go.

I'm Nicole Coenen — astrologer, certified professional life coach, and founder of Enchanted Life Astrology LLC.
I've studied astrology for over 30 years, specializing in Hellenistic techniques: Zodiacal Releasing, the Progressed Lunation Cycle, and the Secret Chart (12th Parts). These are not the tools of pop astrology. They are the ancient instruments of navigation — built to read the current of a life, not just the weather of a week.
As a certified life coach, I understand what it takes to translate insight into actual change. Knowing which way the river flows is only useful if you're willing to turn the boat around.

My Philosophy
That's when it hit me: this is exactly what I had been doing with my life for thirty years.
I didn't give my notice at my day job to start my own business because I was brave. I gave it because I finally learned to read the current — and the chart told me it was time.
I built Enchanted Life Astrology for the woman I was eight years ago.
She's stuck in a life that doesn't feel like hers anymore. Nothing is catastrophically wrong — it just fits the way a costume fits. Technically it's on. But it was made for someone else.
She's been following the wind so long she's forgotten what the current even feels like.
She doesn't need a new life. She needs to understand the one she already has.
