The Story Behind the Work
I want to tell you something about how I came to understand my own life — because it is the same thing I want to help you understand about yours.
I had my first child in my senior year of high school. The world called that a mistake. My chart called it the entire point. My first zodiacal releasing peak period — twenty years of my life — was always about children, nurturing, and becoming through relationship. My progressed new moon had seeded in my 1st house of identity. My full moon illuminated the 7th house of partnership. The sky had written that chapter before I lived it. I just didn't have the language to read it yet.
Then came what I now call the rough patch. Twenty-five years of a difficult marriage, a divorce, a finance career I didn't choose but that paid the bills and let me put my children first. My second progressed new moon fell in the 2nd house — what do I value, what are my real resources? The full moon landed in the 8th house of surrender, depth, and letting go. The sky was asking me to release everything that wasn't truly mine. I didn't know that then. I just knew I was exhausted, in that soul tired, sleep won't help kind of way.
When I was younger, everyone said I had so much promise. I was smart. I was going to be somebody. And I believed them — I genuinely believed I was going to do something extraordinary.
By my forties, I looked around and wondered where she went. The woman I was supposed to become. The greatest accomplishment I could point to was my children — extraordinary human beings, all 3 of them — and still I was depressed. Disappointed. Quietly grieving a version of myself that had never arrived.
Then I discovered life coaching. I returned to astrology at a depth I had never studied it before. And slowly, the story I had been living began to make sense in a way it never had.
The 8th house full moon happened in 2022. The release was complete. The career I didn't choose — released. The identity built around someone else's life — released. The version of me that existed for everyone except myself — finally, mercifully, released.
Some of the most successful, most impactful people in the world didn't start until their forties and fifties. Not because they were late. Because they needed everything that came before in order to be ready for what came next.
My best days are not behind me. They are in front of me. And my chart — when I finally learned to read all three layers of it — showed me exactly why.
I am a little over halfway through my second progressed lunation cycle. The progressed lunation runs thirty years — most people get three cycles in a lifetime. My 8th house full moon is behind me. My 3rd house new moon — the chapter of communication, writing, and teaching — doesn't begin until 2037. That is when the next chapter formally opens, culminating with a progressed full moon on my Midheaven while I am simultaneously in my second zodiacal releasing peak period of life.
But I am not in a waiting room. In the progressed lunation cycle, the phase between the full moon and the third quarter has a name: the Disseminating Moon. It is the phase when the fruit is ripe for the picking. When the harvest is ready. When everything that was seeded, grown, and culminated becomes something you can finally give to others.
That is precisely where I am right now — and I know it because my chart told me.
The second new moon seeded the question of worth: what do I actually value, what are my real gifts, what has always been mine to offer? I learned the answer. Storytelling. Coaching women through transformation. Reading the stars with the precision of someone who has studied them for thirty years. Gifts I had been using in service of other people's goals — that were actually mine all along.

The Astrolabe Series was built during a Jupiter retrograde on my natal Saturn in the 12th house — the house of sacred hidden work. The sky configured me for exactly what I was doing. I didn't plan it. I navigated it.

A Story About the Secret Chart
An astrologer once read my chart and told me it was one of the most extraordinary charts he had ever studied — that it rivaled some of the greatest charts he had encountered in decades of practice. Then he told me I was lacking Capricorn energy — that I had no planets there, that I was missing the structured, disciplined, ambitious drive that Capricorn provides. The Capricorn he sensed in me must be coming from somewhere else.
He was reading the surface chart. He missed what is hidden underneath — the energy behind the energy.
I have three planets in the 12th parts of Capricorn. And when you know what they are — and what houses they rule — the entire narrative arc of the story completely changes.
Venus in the 12th Parts of Capricorn
Rules the 10th House (public calling + legacy) and the 3rd House (communication + writing)
Venus governs what I am known for and how I express myself — both hidden in Capricorn's disciplined, structural energy. The astrologer missed the planet that rules my public work and my voice. Mercury in the 12th Parts of Capricorn
Rules the 2nd House (money + resources) and the 11th House (community + soul tribe)
Mercury governs my financial mind and my community building — both hidden in Capricorn. This explains thirty years in finance: the structured, methodical, disciplined financial intelligence that was always there beneath the surface, running the numbers, building the models, managing resources with Capricorn precision. And it explains why the community I am building — The Chart Room, The Elemental Voyage — has an architecture to it. Mercury in Capricorn doesn't build communities casually. It builds them to last.
Jupiter in the 12th Parts of Capricorn — one degree from the natal Midheaven
Rules the 5th House (creativity + joy) and the 8th House (transformation + depth).
Jupiter — the great expander, the planet of abundance, wisdom, and teaching — falls in Capricorn in the Secret Chart, one degree from my natal Midheaven but in a different 12th part. The proximity is unmistakable even if the exact degree differs. The conventional chart shows an empty Capricorn house. The Secret Chart shows Jupiter hiding there, disciplined and structured, governing my creativity and my depth. The workaholic who built twelve workbooks during a Jupiter retrograde. The teacher who built a philosophical methodology around navigation. The public calling that is expansive, Jovian, devoted to wisdom — and structured, rigorous, built to endure. That is Jupiter in Capricorn. Invisible to the surface reading. Undeniable once you know where to look.
And then there is Mars — on the Secret Chart Midheaven. In Aquarius.
Mars on the Midheaven of the 12th parts chart — the drive, the ambition, the warrior energy running the public calling from the hidden layer.
This is perhaps the most telling detail of all. While the conventional chart shows my Midheaven without Mars anywhere near it, the Secret Chart places Mars directly on that summit — in Aquarius. Mars in Aquarius at the Midheaven is the energy of the revolutionary who builds for the collective. The pioneer who disrupts old systems not out of rebellion but out of vision. The one whose public work carries an electric, forward-facing, quietly radical charge. When I built a navigation methodology rooted in ancient astrological technique and brought it to women who have lost their landmarks — that is Mars in Aquarius at the hidden Midheaven. Not soft. Not accidental. A warrior energy, running everything from below the surface, pointing toward the future.
The surface chart said: empty Capricorn house, no Capricorn energy, no Mars near the Midheaven. The Secret Chart said: three planets hidden in Capricorn — governing my public voice, my financial mind, my community building, my creativity, and depth — and Mars sitting on the hidden Midheaven in Aquarius, the revolutionary energy running my public calling from below. All of it, Hidden. All of it, True.
